Over more than 15 years, we have been selling carbon offsets
During that time, we have:
- collated, assessed and recommended carbon offset options that meet our client’s specifications
- sold and retired verified carbon units (VCUs) from VCS carbon offset projects (many with additional accreditation under CCBS)
- sold and retired verified emission reductions (VERs) from Gold Standard carbon offset projects
- developed our Carbon Shop to streamline and simplify the purchase and retirement of your carbon credits
We draw upon climate change and environmental experience to examine, summarise and communicate projects to clients, providing them with links to each project’s documentation
Beyond Just Selling Carbon Offsets
Experience of developing carbon offset projects enables us to understand the complexities and risks inherent in creating carbon credits
Our director was a part of the successful, world first “Minding the Carbon Store” Australian avoided deforestation project, described in more detail in the What We Have Done – Land Based page
- at the time, the project generated the largest Australian carbon trade
- it saved approximately 13,000 ha of biologically diverse habitat from being cleared (literally stopping bulldozers in some cases)
- prevented 1,250,000 tonnes of emissions from being released by avoiding the clearing of forest
- the project demonstrated that market mechanisms and verified emission reductions could stop forest destruction; a model now promoted internationally
